About the speaker

Vishal Ranjan is the Founder and CEO of vCard. He aspires to disrupt the Master-Visa led incumbent plastic credit card industry. By serving $200 Credit Line to 300 mn population in addition to $2000 Credit Card to 30 mn Salaried class in India. Vishal started his career as Consultant at AT Kearney in 2004. In 2007, Vishal co-founded the Healthcare IT venture, Asclepius Consulting which serviced 100 hospitals in India and abroad. The venture was acquired by Virinchi Ltd. Where Vishal took over as the Group President for Strategy and New Businesses in 2013. Vishal’s passion for building solutions led him to launch vCard.

About the company

vCard is the only Mobile First Credit Card solution on a UPI payment rail. It also functions as an on demand personal credit solution for P2P as well as P2M payments. The AI-driven credit solution reduces associated origination, service, and collection costs by 100x. Also, vCard creates alternate UPI based business models instead of MDR based 60% revolving interest revenues. It has proactively replaced esoteric reward points construct to meaningful instant gratification structures. Similarly, vCard is building innovative credit card business model disruptions in risk models, technology, collections and go-to-markets.

The platform’s goal is to create a disruptive customer experience via meaningful engagement and AI-based personalized gratification. Independent of Master-Visa networks for the 300 mn strong underpenetrated market in India and affiliate international markets.
