About the speaker
Dr. Venunadhan B. Pillai is the Executive Principal of Vellore International School Chennai. VIS is a VIT group institution. Dr. Pillai, who is a Harvard qualified School Leader, has over 34 years of experience in schools in Bhutan, Kenya, Malawi and India.
Also, Dr. Pillai is one of the very few certified Cambridge English Teacher Trainers in India. He is also a Programme Leader for Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL). Besides these, he is also an Examiner of Cambridge and IB English Examinations. He examined IELTS too in the past. He chaired Central India Cambridge Community for two years; the community comprised Cambridge Schools of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
His working in different geographical locations of the world has contributed greatly to his exposure, learning and success. His students are spread all around the world; some studying in the most prestigious universities of the world; some are well settled in their lives with promising careers.
