EdTech is most commonly associated with online education. But in reality, this concept is much broader. It unites all ways of using technology in the educational process. From interactive blackboards to Virtual Reality simulators for modeling surgical operations. The EdTech industry presents a plethora of technology tools that facilitate learning for kids as well as adults. Including assessment tools for teachers, education-specific sites, reader-adaptive ebooks and more. During an interaction with TheTechPod – “The bond has strengthen between parents and teachers,” says Manjari Tejpal.
Our educational module has unfortunately been stagnant over a significant period of time. But the life outside the classroom has changed. The modern day tools help teachers use creative tools for engagement in the classroom. Also, to cater to the needs of children with different learning styles. EdTech tools also provide an environment for self paced learning, distance learning. Along with providing a vast pool of resources EdTech tools are budget friendly and less time consuming.
About the speaker
In her 20 years of experience, Manjari Tejpal has served at various capacities in different Educational organizations. She has worked as Head of Management Department, Principal In-charge of a College of Humanities. And, is presently working as a Principal in an International School (GEMS Public School, Patiala), since April, 2016. She has convened several National, International seminars and Teachers Training Programmers. Also, Manjari has conducted workshops on Early Years, Collaborative Learning, Differentiated Learning, Problem Solving and Developing Communication Skills.
As a school leader, Manjari has created a climate of high expectations. Wherein students and staff members are supported and encouraged to do the best by offering varied and multiple opportunities to excel. She believes in motivating everyone in school to take a flexible stand in the matters of education. An approach that is inviolably important in today’s dynamic world.
